For decades, air travelers have associated larger aircraft with a more comfortable flying experience. The logic seems straightforward: bigger planes offer more space, more amenities, and a smoother ride. Widebody jets with two aisles, such as the Boeing 777 or Airbus A380, are often perceived as inherently superior to smaller narrowbody aircraft used on short-haul routes. But in modern aviation, that assumption is increasingly unreliable.
