Assaia, a provider of artificial intelligence and computer-vision technology for airport operations, said United Airlines Ventures (UAV), the venture capital arm of United Airlines, has invested in the company.
The investment, made earlier this year, will support further development of Assaia’s StandManager product, which is designed to help airlines and airports make stand and gate allocation decisions as operating conditions change.
UAV invests in technologies aimed at advancing aviation and connects portfolio companies with industry expertise. According to Assaia, UAV’s investment in Assaia reflects its confidence in the company’s approach to addressing increasingly complex airport operations.
