BOC Aviation has agreed to purchase 12 Airbus A320neo aircraft from Airbus for long-term lease to existing customer Avianca, adding to its portfolio of next-generation narrow-body jets as the Colombian airline expands its fleet and network.
The aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2029 and will all be powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines. The deal will support Avianca’s longer-term fleet strategy while giving BOC Aviation additional exposure to the fuel-efficient A320neo family.
